I would recommend Beyer Builders to anyone. I found Beyer Builders on Facebook. John & Sharon Beyer helped us out from the beginning planning to the end. John Beyer transformed my cement patio to a beautiful wooden deck. John is very conscience of the details & cleaned up after everyone working here. When we asked about staining the deck, they got back to us immediately & told us that the deck needs to weather a full season before painting. The wood has to dry out first, which many people don’t ask about. Our dog chewed almost through the gate installed. John had a good laugh and installed new slats with only charging us for the labor. I wanted to thank Beyer Builders for all that you have done for my family. When you remodeled my mother’s new condominium, you empowered her to continue living independently, in a beautiful new home that she is proud of.

My mother is in her eighties, and my brothers and I pressed her to purchase a condominium where she would have first floor living. She finally agreed, but said she would only move if and when the twenty year old condominium looked like new construction. My brothers and I and our spouses all work full time, and we had no idea how to make her happy.

Beyer Builders was the answer to our prayers. John and Sharon toured both her existing home and her new purchase, providing suggestions about making her new home safer and more comfortable for her. John prepared detailed estimates for my mother and kept in constant contact with her, so that she knew she was his top priority. John recommended installing a stackable washer and dryer because the existing floor plan did not allow for wheel chair or walker access to the back door (something that we had not noticed). As a new construction expert, John also noticed many tiny details that aged the condominium and took corrective action (an example is that he stained the grout in the laundry room so that it was uniform). John even guided my mother through ordering a more compact, wheeled recycling bin because he was concerned that the existing one was too cumbersome for her. Sharon made a special trip to my mother’s home so that she could pick out the wall colors and carpet with her furniture in afternoon light. Beyer Builders went beyond drywall repair, painting, replacing carpet and updating the bathrooms… Beyer Builders made my mother’s new condominium her new home.

Our family is not just pleased with Beyer Builders, we are thrilled with Beyer Builders. The workmanship is absolutely impeccable, but most importantly they gave my mother not just customer service, but a customer connection. I would recommend John Beyer without reservation.

After paying two roofers to "fix" our leaking roof unsuccessfully, I took to Angie's List and decided to try John at Beyer Builders. His profile stated that he has been in the construction industry for over 25 years. I was able to schedule an appointment for an estimate right away. He was very flexible with my family's schedule. Our house is a two-story, so while he was up on the roof, he took pictures and showed me exactly where the problem was occurring and how he was going to fix it. That evening he sent me an email with his estimate and the photos that he took of our roof that day that I could share with my husband. We scheduled the appointment to get the roof fixed and I also asked him if he could clean out our gutters. He completed the roof and the gutters in a days work and there was no mess left over.
After a couple of weeks of rain, it was determined that the roof was repaired. I set up an appointment with John to come back out and fix our ceiling where the leak had rotted out our drywall. He determined that there was no mold growth, so he cut out the entire damaged area, re-drywalled, taped and mudded. After a couple of days of letting it dry, he came back out to texturize to match our existing ceiling texture. After a couple more days, he stopped by one more time to paint it to match our existing ceiling color.
While John had been cleaning our gutters, he had noticed that a glass pane was broken out of one of our exterior doors (and covered with cardboard). I was not about to tell him how long it had been like this! I didn't think to ask him, but he said if we wanted him to, he would replace the pane for us, and he did. He performed this work in conjunction with a visit for the roof leak.
Our experience with John has been phenomenol. He is very professional, friendly (he even let my 7 year old help him paint a little!), on time, and his prices were very fair. I felt that his service definitely warrants his pricing. This summer we are hoping to re-side our home and will definitely call John. We highly recommend him. Thanks for your help with our roof issue! Glad it's finally resolved after years of neglect.

It was like a dream come true. I can't begin to express how pleased and happy my wife and I are after having Beyer Builders come to our rescue.

After having a roof leak on my relatively new house, I was less than happy and overwhelmed by the thought of dealing with contractors and insurance companies. After contacting my insurance company I began the laborious task of interviewing roofing contractors. I started my adventure by contacting a roofing contractor and having him perform a roof inspection. He found wind & hail damage and said they could take care of all the insurance issue etc. for which I was pleasantly surprised. His true colors began to show when I asked for a written quote. He said, that "they don't provide written quotes and that anything listed on the insurance adjusters summary sheet would be taken care of and nothing more and nothing less" Nothing more or nothing less, when I heard that, I knew I needed a professional and not some "Storm Chaser" roofing contractor.

The skies started to clear when a family friend told us about Angie's List & Beyer Builders.
I spoke with a woman named Sharon who took all of our information and scheduled a roof inspection. John showed up exactly as scheduled and met with my wife. After his roof inspection was completed, he reviewed pictures he took while up on the roof and discussed how he would handle the project and also about the quality of products he would be providing. After John left our house my wife called me at work and informed me our worries are over. She said “We need to hire Beyer Builders"

That's where the beautiful part of my experience begins. We met with John & Sharon to review their quote. John brought several copies so we could all review his proposal together. It was the best experience possible; he was very, very thorough and took his time explaining what was included in his bid. Although I always solicit three to five bids for work we have done to our home, this time I too was convinced Beyer Builders is our company.

Just like clockwork, the crews arrived as scheduled and without hesitation the tear off work began. Believe it or not, they completed a whole house tear off and re-shingle in one long day. I think the best way to describe Beyer Builders is to compare them to a well oiled machine. John has his crews well trained and you can tell his men like working with him. The roof looks great! The crews left my yard and home in perfect shape.

We would recommend Beyer Builders to anyone looking for a professional contractor who does things with an eye for detail and a heart of gold. I know John will be doing more work for us in the future.

Writing this review is like a double edge sword, I want John & company to know how truly pleased and happy we are with the work they have performed but, on the other hand I hope they don't get too busy, as I'm planning my next big project and don't want to have to be put on a waiting list. As I'm writing this my wife is looking over my shoulder and said she would gladly be placed on a waiting list to avoid the problems we have experienced with contractors in the past.

This was my first experience with Beyer Builders and we have utilized their services several times since then. We were having a new INDUCTION range installed, so we needed 220 service set up at the range which had previously been a gas range. We also needed an above-the-range microwave installed, and this was a source of concern because I was worried because most of the contractors I spoke with didn't sound entirely confident about their ability to do this. John Beyer handled it like he'd done it a million times - quickly and done right - and even handled all of the details that never even crossed my mind like dealing with the crown molding around our cabinetry. The price was right, the service was great, and it was all handled very professionally from start to finish. I am relieved that I picked the right contractor to do this work. Once you find the right resource, you stick with that resource because you trust that things will be done correctly --- If you've been reading my reviews for Beyer Builders, your starting to notice a pattern. All of the work is performed at fair rates, with great expertise, and on a business level everything is handled with integrity. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I would recommend Beyer Builders to anyone, and I will continue to utilize their services going forward.

My original contractor didn't return my calls to complete this project so I called Beyer Builders. John came out and did the dryer vent connection right away at a reasonable price. I called and requested additional work and he sent me an estimate via email. Sharon Beyer called me to confirm that I received the estimate. She was able to schedule to work right away. The workmen were professional and the work was completed in less the two weeks. The garage looks great and the area was cleaned up by the time they were done. I would and will call them for other projects.The estimate was also the final price-no add ons.

We enjoyed our experience with Beyer Builders. Both John and Sharon Beyer were very helpful and professional. John came and looked at the bathroom remodel project. We received an estimate and the work began. The workers were there when they said they would be and the job was done with the utmost care and consideration to the rest of the house. The bathroom is beautiful and John is very good at finishing work. We did have issues with the bathroom door, which was a problem with the vendor and Beyer Builders kept coming back until the problem was resolved even after payment was made. We were over budget in the end due to the fact that our old house was not up to code in a couple of areas, (plumbing and electrical) but with all of the improvements, we felt the money was well spent. No complaints, very happy with the results.
